Govt Plan More Wind Farms

A HUGE expansion in off-shore wind farms with the potential to power one in six homes and create as many as 20,000 new jobs has been signalled by the Government.

The Department of Trade and Industry announced that three areas of the UK - the Thames Estuary; Greater Wash, off East Anglia; and the North West - would be developed during the next few years.
