Surveys Show Increase in Organic Demand

Two recent consumer surveys have shown very encouraging results. A survey by Sainsbury's Magazine to mark its 10th anniversary has revealed that 45 per cent of shoppers questioned are buying more organic food than they did two years ago. (The Western Mail, The Sun)
The Co-operative Bank's 'Dig for Britain' survey has revealed that there has been a huge increase in the demand for organic food, with 44 per cent of adults eating organic produce. The results also showed that 43 per cent of adults are doing something eco-friendly (Daily Express)
