Schools Used to Market Food Products

So you think you know what your kids eat at school? Some food manufacturers are paying to bypass parents, putting their new product 'samples' into the playground.

I found this article quite shocking - all mum's of school-age kids should read it. It seems children and schools (in return for materials) are targetted by marketing campaigns which sell unhealthy food to our children. If kids don't consume these products they are often seen as 'uncool'. Bottles are even labelled advising against refilling 'for hygiene reasons' possibly to avoid concerned Mum's filling them with more healthy drinks! The contents of many of the products are listed - and read like a chemistry lesson!
