Sales of organic food are likely to reach £1.57bn by 2007 according to the market intelligence organisation Keynote. In their report about healthy eating, the organisation says that manufacturers and retailers can do more to help consumers make healthy choices, although there is some doubt as to whether point-of-sale material reaches the intended audience. Food manufacturers may become increasingly involved in health initiatives such as fat camps for children.
