Eating healthily while young can help prevent cancer in later life, according to new research. Doctors from Bristol University studied almost 4,000 men and women who had been children in the 1930s and the death certificates were investigated by the Medical Research Council. The study also found that increased fruit intake was associated with lower death rates from all causes.
