OMSCo POSTPONES ANNUAL ORGANIC MILK SUMMIT

Following the cancellation of next week’s RABDF Dairy Event, the Organic Milk Suppliers Cooperative (OMSCo) announced today (Friday 14 September) that it is to postpone the annual Organic Milk Summit due to take place on Wednesday 19 September at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, alongside the Dairy Event.

OMSCo fully supports the RABDF’s decision to cancel the Dairy Event in light of the resurgence of the Foot and Mouth outbreak and as such has taken the decision to postpone the annual Organic Milk Summit in line with the RABDF’s actions.

Chaired by NFU president Peter Kendall, the Organic Milk Summit was expected to attract up to 150 representatives of the UK dairy industry, including many farmers from across the country. OMSCo hopes to re-schedule the conference at a later date and will be in contact with all delegates as soon as further information is available.
