OMSCo Responds to FMD Alert

On Friday 3rd August DEFRA confirmed an outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) on a Surrey beef farm. In common with many other milk suppliers, OMSCo has implemented biosecurity controls across its national milk supply network. The measures include the disinfection of vehicles entering and leaving transport depots, the disinfection of vehicles arriving and leaving farms and the use of tanker filters.
