Miliband Backtracks on Organic Claim

David Miliband was accused last night of backtracking over his claim that organic food was not healthier to eat. Organic farmers, angry at the Environment Secretary's comments last week, fired off a list of scientific evidence put out by his department backing their cause. Robin Maynard, Soil Association spokesman, said: "He is trying to row back from a very careless and patronising remark about a 'lifestyle choice'."
