Opposition to GM Still Strong

A survey of supermarkets shows that opposition to GM foods is as strong as in 1999, when supermarkets removed GM foods and ingredients from their shelves.

Still no British supermarket includes GM food or ingredients in its own-brand products, and the stores declare that they will continue in 2004.
