New Committee to Replace UKROFS

The UK government has set up a committee to advise it on organic standards, approval of organic certifying bodies, and research and development.
A successor to the United Kingdom Register of Organic Standards, (UKROFS) it will be chaired by Andrew Jedwell who has been appointed for a three-year term of office starting from 1 November, 2003.
