A 500 acre traditional family farm (mentioned in the Domesday Book), home to the oldest herd of Hereford cattle in the world, and a wildlife haven with butterflies, trout pools and award-winning nature reserves (including a marshland SSSI). Farms do not come this old without very careful management over a long period, backed by a great knowledge of the countryside and its flora and fauna. The farm is an ideal base for naturalists, historians, painters and photographers, and there is wonderful walking around the Black and White villages of the Welsh Marches. Organic home produce includes milk, beef and seasonal vegetables. There is also a good organic restaurant nearby. B&B £25pn



At Leen,they also process some milk into yoghurt,cheese.cream, cheese and cakes.

They are part of a group of four farms marketing products under The Dairy House label.
